It's not a bad choice from CNET Asia's Editor

Again it's about Nokia E51

It' s really a help for me...how you connect to the www if you're not in the "wifi" area? Connect your gadget to your laptop, use it as modem.... and .... it's work!!!
It was just simple, as long as there is signal from the provider, means that we could use GPRS, or maybe more, there is also 3G or even 3.5 G.

That's what I experinced in cisarua. I could use it that's really practical.... I am not a Nokia E51 heavy fans, but at least I am happy to have such an easy emergency connection.

Evolution of neoplastic cells

Evolution of neoplastic cells.

Genetic analysis of cancer suggests that neoplastic cells arise through an accumulation of mutations. The genetic clonality observed in most cancers suggests that they arise from a single neoplastic cell that has undergone multiple rounds of mutation, proliferation, and selection.

Cells undergo random mutagenesis, generating several distinct variants. Variants that survive undergo additional rounds of mutation and selection.

Subvariants escaping normal growth controls can expand to form preneoplastic lesions. Additional mutations within the population of preneoplastic cells give rise to clonal variants that proliferate into cancer.

Still my luvly inspiring ricecooker....meat and vegetables

Ricecooker....
One of my friend ask me: how could it would be so useful since only producing rice.... Just answer him to use his lateral point of view in the way he look at this handy traveler device....well of course it could also help you managing your "supermarket" meat and vegetables.... don't doubt it....

Just put in pieces of meat or even fish than pour it with any seasoning you like or simply put ketchup ... instead of being practical... this nice recipe also really works.. especially when you want to save some penny...

Believe me friends...don't have to waste your time.....it's also good...and the important thing is beside certainly is the precooked food in supermarket is cheaper than having meal in restaurants everywhere in Europe, it is also very handy to keep it always in your hand-luggage, and easy to clean. ..

HOW TO STAY FIT?

There's of course way to make us stay fit.. In my experience it's depend on our willing, how hard are we willing for it...

How could we reduce our body weight... it's even more difficult when starting it with "a counter idea", that reduce our body weight is not easy even not possible.

That's not difficult...but need your patience, patience in the way of doing to be stay fit. The most difficult enemy is yourself, I do not know whether you agree or not. It's not difficult to say "no" to other people but it's difficult to say "no" or "stop" to ourselves. Right...we might be so selfish to not to say "stop" especially when something is really delicious and we could not stand not to continue it.

NOKIA E51, simple, easy-to-use, and fully functional-connecting gadget

It's really a help that I lived in a hotel with free internet wifi. I did some browsing and it was worked!! Even some hotel in Jakarta is not good in providing free online internet for the Guest. I would say this hotel really matched me, "an internet freak". It was Le Grandeur. Good to be there...

Sometimes when I have to wait for transportation in the hotel lobby, I still could browse or even chat with yahoo messenger. It's really comfortable since I could also use my personal "assistant"-->"NOKIA E51" This device until now really helpful, especially if you expect to open your email and sometimes doing a little browsing.

Its ability to detect hot-spots or wireless acces point was really helpful and fun, as sensitive as my fujitsu laptop I guess. Except that, however, it was still only a gadget-phone, with a tiny screen certainly. Besides wi-fi this gadget actually also has the ability to comunicate with GPRS, EDGE, UMTS or even HSDPA.

This amazing device (Right now is amazing!! but don't know in the next coming years), even could act as a modem for GPRS and certainly for UMTS or HSDPA...with an easy instalation also...

The quality of the picture when you took also really enough..enough I said, 'cause it's not as good as the camera phone but it still as good as Sony Erricson 890 at that time in a matter of picture quality. In this blog I enclosed also the pictures taken with SE 890 and taken by Nokia E51, so you could compare them yourself. Both are not perfect, aren't they... The picture on top is shot by Nokia E51 and at the bottom is shot by SE 890.

Balikpapan in Borneo, industrial but still interesting city

Jakarta, 28.07.2008

I have just come back from a 5 days 4 nights trip to Balikpapan. Balikpapan is a unique city, where people come from all over the country to do business primarily in oil or coal industry. It is really a rich small city with many cultural thing. This city historically exist because of the oil and coal and other supporting industries. So about 60 % the population is Javanese people, I also originated from Java island, about 30 to 40 % come from Sulawesi and Sumatra then less than 5% are come from Kalimantan itself. Frankly saying it has no original tribels in Balikpapan, while once again the city was there because of industry. If we go to Balikpapan we see also a lot of expatriates, from all over the world, USA; European countries; Japan; Korea; Philipines; and etc.
There is no special kind of food there, except for it's famous "Restauran Kepiting Kenari", canary crab, among Indonesians it is still the most favorite one, I am not sure whether it will also touch the taste of western people. The fact is when I was there, on the second night in Balikpapan, the Restaurant itself only full of Indonesians. And this crabs come from it source, Tarakan city, another part of Borneo, so it is also not original Balikpapan again. There also a very good place with a nice taste also "black pepper crab" in the beach restaurant of Hotel Le Grendeur, the place where I lived.

Although Balikpapan is not the capital city of East Borneo but it is the only city that has a "accomodable" airport terminal which also serves international flights, mostly go and come from singapore. In Indonesia Balikpapan airport is one of the good airports, I do think.

So beside seafood restaurant what else we could do in Balikpapan? There are also crocodile park or "penangkaran buaya", that also sell "crocodile satay" or "sate buaya", that's so interesting whether you like the taste or not. They also demonstrate the way they kill the crocodile before cook it. Other places are Tenggarong, a kind of historical place, frankly I did not go there, since my tight schedule.

If you are interested in"orang utan" there is orang utan park about 2 hours by car. You could rent a car with the driver to go there.
